Common questions about our watches, movements, materials, and collaborations
Water resistance is rated by line. Our tactical and aviation watches — Revolution, the MOD modular system, and Aviateur — are rated to 100M (10 ATM), which covers rain, hand-washing, showering, and surface swimming. The Diver line is purpose-built for the water and rated to 200M. Officially licensed collaboration (IP) watches vary by edition, and some entry digital or quartz pieces carry a lower rating or none at all, so always check the individual product page. For scuba diving, choose The Diver. Water resistance can weaken over time, so we recommend an annual crown-and-seal check if you wear your watch in water regularly.
Both, depending on the model and tier. Our higher automatic tiers run genuine Seiko NH-series calibres (such as the NH34, NH35, and NH72) — Japanese automatic movements with 21–24 jewels, a 21,600 vph beat rate, hand-winding, and hacking seconds. Entry automatic tiers use the proven Miyota 8215 automatic. Quartz models use precision Japanese quartz movements. For example, the Revolution Autopilot is offered in a Miyota 8215 build at $220 and a Seiko NH35 build at $475. Every movement is checked on a timegrapher before assembly.
This depends on the tier rather than a single fixed specification. Premium automatic tiers use sapphire crystal (9 on the Mohs scale) with stainless steel cases, including PVD-coated steel. Entry tiers use mineral glass with reinforced polymer and IP-electroplated steel cases. For the exact materials of any specific watch, please check its product page.
These are timepieces produced under official license with partners including Transformers, Peanuts & Snoopy, Kamen Rider, One Piece, Monopoly, and Robotech. They form a distinct, collector-focused category that sits apart from our core tactical and aviation lines, and they range from affordable digital and chronograph quartz pieces to premium automatic collector editions.
Not always — specifications vary from one edition to the next, so the specs of our core lines should not be assumed for every collaboration. Entry collaboration pieces (for example, the Kamen Rider digital series at around $50) use polymer or composite cases with mineral glass and digital quartz movements, and are not built to the 100M, Seiko, or sapphire standard of the core lines. Flagship collaboration editions, however, do match those premium specifications: the Transformers 40th Anniversary automatics, for instance, feature a Seiko NH35 or NH72 automatic, a 316L stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, and 100M water resistance. Always confirm the details on the specific product page.
Yes. Every collaboration watch is produced under official license with the rights holder — these are authentic, fully authorised crossover timepieces, not unofficial tributes. Many are limited production runs, and once an edition sells out it is generally not reissued.
Yes. Our MOD modular system lets you choose the case, ring, dial, bezel, and strap to build your own watch across 41mm, 42mm, 44mm, and 47mm chassis. Accessories are cross-compatible within the same case size. Each build is assembled, movement-tested on a timegrapher, and pressure-tested before it ships, and custom engraving is available.
The Revolution series is the usual choice for tactical professionals: a Seiko or Miyota automatic movement, 100M water resistance, a luminous dial, and a rugged square pilot case. The automatic build removes any dependence on a battery in the field. If you need a greater depth rating, choose The Diver (200M). For a slimmer or quartz alternative, the Aviateur and Revolution quartz models offer comparable durability.
Infantry® sells direct to consumers, which removes the distributor and retail markups that traditional brands add. Our founder, Jason Wai, spent years working inside more than 300 watch factories and built direct sourcing relationships, so premium components reach you at close to manufacturer pricing. The model is proven by more than one million watches sold across 40+ countries. Prices start from $99.

Common questions about returns and warranty
Our return and exchange policy runs for 30 days from the date you receive your item. Orders returned after this period do not qualify for a refund or exchange and may be sent back to the customer at their expense. The item must be dispatched within 30 days, with proof of postage. To qualify for a return, items must be unopened, unused, undamaged, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
If a return does not qualify for free return, a service fee of 20% of the order value will be deducted.
